During the past year, I have participated in a Comprehensive Training Program in Implant Dentistry through the Medical College of Georgia. Passing the comprehensive exam allows me to be eligible for oral exams before a panel of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and achieve Associate Fellowship of the Academy. After receiving over 350 hours of didactic and clinical training in Georgia this year, I am thrilled to report I passed and I am done…for this year. In 2012 I will participate in the Advanced Dental Implant Program, sponsored by the Atlanta Institute for Advanced Education, which will help me prepare for my oral exams.
