Doctors: Dr. Guy G Levy, Dr. Falguni Ghatak, and Dr. James Lish
Dr. Guy Levy, DDS
Dr. Guy Levy is a Virginia Tech Hokie and an honors graduate from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry, being recognized with many awards, including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
Dr. Levy joined his father, Dr. Mayer Levy, in general dental practice in 1987, and since Dr. Mayer’s retirement in 2007, he continues to enthusiastically treat every patient with extraordinary care. Dr. Levy continuously pursues education in state-of-the-art dental techniques, including hundreds of hours of advanced study at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Study and The Advanced Dental Implant Studies Program (http://www.acfrd.com/advanced-dental-implant-studies.html).
Active in their communities, Dr. Levy and his wife, Robin, hold leadership positions in a range of civic, religious and charitable organizations. They are proud of their adult children, Clare and James Braford, and Frankie Levy. They also love to spoil their grandchildren Levi and Asher Braford.
Dr. Falguni Ghatak, DDS
Falguni Ghatak, DDS, is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in the Hampton Roads area. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2019 and has been practicing for over six years.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Ghatak has worked in both private practice and public health settings. She is passionate about preventive care and patient education, and she strives to make every visit a comfortable, positive experience. Currently, she is furthering her knowledge through a residency in Dental Sleep Medicine, offered by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in partnership with the University of Michigan.
Her husband, Dr. Rupendra Ghatak, is a Sleep Medicine Physician at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. Together, they are passionate about helping patients better understand and manage sleep-related breathing disorders such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnea through personalized, patient-centered care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ghatak enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and children. She is proud to call Hampton Roads her new home and is excited to continue building lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. James Lish
Dr. James Lish achieved is Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California in 2010. He furthered his expertise in advanced dental and cosmetic procedures through Prosthodontics Residency training at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda Maryland.
Dr. Lish is a Board Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. His advanced training and commitment to learning encompasses more than 900 hours in advanced cosmetic dentistry, ceramic veneers, adhesive dentistry, implant surgery, and addressing complex dental conditions.
He’s a Proud Navy Veteran of 13 years as a Prosthodontist in the Navy. One of his most accomplished achievements in the Navy, was advising the Corps Chief and Surgeon General on Digital CAD/CAM technology for the entire Navy. He helped update the force’s lab and clinical systems to use advanced digital dentistry technology, 3D printing, and guided implant surgery – bringing the same level of predictable care to the Navy as we expect in the private practice setting.
Dr. Lish is passionate about caring for his patients like family. Finding predictable solutions that fit your goals and enhance your life. He loves the outdoors and anything to do with watersports, surfing, and diving. The outdoors, adventuring, and his wife and family are his passions outside of work.
